چکیده
In this study, a wear amount estimation method is investigated using the data obtained from 2nd Demonstration Experiment of wind observation system off coast Sakata, floating platform including mooring to reduce optimized by method. First, condition lines and it found that at point on buoy side largest. Next, cause higher progress than expected design speed numerical calculations, confirmed proportionality constant in evaluation formula proposed Takeuchi et al. changed according sea conditions, equation determined. Finally, line, can be reduced adjusting length line or reduction weight

Several studies have been carried out focusing on floater motion compensation1). However, the detailed algorithm for motion compensation is not described. The most simple motion compensation algorithm is simply to perform coordinate transformation. Fujitani2) applied coordinate transformation for sonic anemometer on ship. But due to the difference in the mechanism of wind speed measurement betw...
متن کاملFloating Offshore Wind Turbines: Tension Leg Platform and Taught Leg Buoy Concepts Suppoting 3-5 Mw Wind Turbines
The development is presented of two low weight, motion resistant stiff floating wind turbine concepts for deployment in water depths ranging from 30 to several hundred meters in seastates with wave heights up to 30 meters supporting 3-5 MW onshore wind turbines. The floating wind turbines may be fully assembled at a coastal facility in their upright position prior to being towed to the offshore...
متن کاملEffect of Platform Surge Motion on the Performance of 5MW NREL Offshore Floating Wind Turbine
In this study, an unsteady aerodynamic simulation is performed to realize the influences of platform surge motion on the aerodynamic performance of a high capacity offshore floating wind turbine. A dynamic model with pitch angle control system is utilized to propose a more realistic model of wind turbine and also achieve the rated condition of the rotor. The transient effect of platform surge m...
